Parashurama

Parashurama is regarded as the sixth misadventure of the Hindu god Vishnou. Its name means " Rāma with the hache". It appeared on Earth to fight against the Caste of the Kshatriya (the caste of the warriors), which did not recognize any more the authority of the Brahmans. It will destroy thus twenty-and-a generations of kshatriya. Following the intervention of Parashurama, the caste of the Brahmans became again most important of all the castes.
