The Chapelle Sixtine is the name that Friedrich Dürrenmatt gave to its Toilettes after having painted its walls. They are today with the Center Dürrenmatt of Neuchâtel, in the part of the old house of Dürrenmatt.

On the walls, this Chapelle is covered with paintings of characters (Hercules, the Cyclops or a Virus) or objects (like the Tower of Babel or a version of the Arsenal of the playwright, title of one of its Indian inks) which form dürrenmattien part of the world; with the ceiling characters, serious and equipped well are represented, who look at the characters on the walls, in a severe and austere way. It is beautiful a Mise in abyme. Would this be also a criticism of the tourist visits of true the Chapelle Sixtine?
