Papyrus of Turin
The papyrus of Turin , also called Canon royal of Turin , is a papyrus written in hieratic which is exposed to the Egyptological Musée of Turin. The text dates from the reign of Ramsès {{II}} and mentions the name of all the Pharaons who preceded it.
When he was discovered in 1822 with Thèbes by the adventurer Bernardino Drovetti, he seems to have been in good state. Unfortunately of bad conditions of conservation deteriorated it much, émiettant it in nearly 160 fragments.
