Paolo Virzì
Paolo Virzi is a realizer and Italian scenario writer , born with Leghorn the March 4th 1964. Graduate of the experimental Center of the cinema of Rome where it followed the teaching of Furio Scarpelli, it moves towards an activity of scenario writer for television and the cinema. He is the author, amongst other things, of Room, Gabriele Salvatores and Central storico of Roberto Giannarelli. In 1994, it signs its first film of feature-length film as a realizer with bleated It vita , preceded with the festival of Venice. After Holidays of August (1995), its second feature-length film, it turns in 1997 Ovosodo which obtains the same year, the special Grand Prix of the jury to the festival of Venice, then Baci E abbracci (1998), My Name is Tanino (2002), Caterina goes downtown (2004) and NR - Napoleon (2006) with the actor Daniel Auteuil.
