Paolo Jedlowski

Paolo Jedlowski (Born with Milan, 1952) is a Sociologue and Italian professor of Sociologie .

Graduate of Philosophy to the University of Milan, it studied the Sociologie in Italy and with the the United States. He taught sociology with the Université of Calabria of 1992 with 2004, for then being a professor of sociology near the faculty of Political sciences of the Université of Naples “Eastern” the, like professor of sociology of the communication to the Université of Italian Switzerland with Lugano.

It was interested in sociology of the culture, the sociology of the daily life and the history of sociology. He is national coordinator of the section Daily life of the Italian Association of sociology . He is the author of several volumes on the collective memory, the contemporary experiment and the communication in the daily life. In addition to to have published some traditional of sociology (Halbwachs, Shepherd, Simmel and Schütz), it prepared a dictionary of the Social sciences and it published two handbooks of stories of the sociological thought.
