Panzani

The company Panzani was created in the Fifties per Mister Jean Panzani, who was baker, in the attic of his/her parents-in-law of a warehouse located vis-a-vis the station with Parthenay in the Two-Sevres (79).

Currently 1500 people work for the company Panzani Global whose head office is located at Lyon. There are also two factories of production of dry pastes being in Marseilles and Nanterre. The sauces are not produced directly by these two factories but they are made in subcontracting.

The activity of the company is directed towards large distribution and export. Panzani is n° 1 in the production of the dry pastes, in front of Barilla and Buitoni.
