Panurge is one of the characters of François Rabelais, friend of the giant Pantagruel.
Swindler, liar, false doctor, it is the development of Pantagruel, but the high-speed motorboat in the Tiers Book flies to him, where Panurge wonders about the need for the marriage.
Among its important facts, most famous (in the Quart Delivers ) remains to have thrown a sheep of a boat, so that the remainder of the herd is thrown to the sea. From there is resulting the expression “sheep from Panurge”.
