Panislamism
The Panislamisme is a political movement claiming either the union of all the Muslim communities in the world, or the union of the territories considered as Moslems.
This ideology is initially defended by the Othoman sultans and becomes influential after the First World War, with the application of the Accord Sykes-Barb which puts an end to the hopes nationalist Arabic to have a free and independent Arab state. The panislamism is current of thought anticolonialist and anti-impérialiste entering very often in conflict with the Arab nationalist currents.
Today, the panislamism is largely represented by religious movements like the Muslim brothers, of the organizations anti-nationalists which prefer the Oumma (community of the believers) with the nation (watan). He knows much success in the Arab countries, but less seems to allure crowd in the countries not-Arabic.
On the level " politique" , Al-Qaida positions as panislamic, claiming a Muslim nation going of the Morocco until the Filipino .
The Hizb C-Tahrir is a party whose ideology is panislamic. For the Islamic front of action, the panislamism represents the the Middle East (without Egypt and half of Iraq).
