The Paniónios BC (in Greek Πανιώνιος Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος Σμύρνης ) is a club of Greek Basket-ball located at Athens.
History
Paniónios is one of the many clubs of Athens. The club was founded in 1890, as a general sports club. The section basketball will be born well afterwards. In 1982, Paniónios BC joined the 1st Greek division for good, after having made the elevator a long time. Even in the shade of the Panathinaïkós or the Olympiakós, the team of Néa Smýrni quickly had a name while being in the signal 4 eight consecutive years between 1984 and 1991. Their efforts will be rewarded in 1991 with the single trophy for their history, the Cut of Greece. Since, Paniónios one is accustomed of the European competitions (semi-final of the Coupe Korać 1999; several quarterfinals) and became impossible to circumvent in the landscape of the Greek tennis shoe.
