Pango

Pango is a software Bibliothèque Open source charged with returned Bill of character and posting with internationalized text. Two major projects are based on this interface: GTK+ and Gnome. Pango uses Unicode for the Encodage of the characters.

Its name means all the languages , by juxtaposition of the words side ( all in Greek) and go ( language in Japanese).

The algorithm of posting of pango is summarized with a cutting of the full text in paragraphs, then with a series of treatments on each one of these paragraphs: determination of the direction of reading, application of the bill of character, cutting in indivisible segments, calculation of the number of lines to be posted, positioning of the segments on each line.
