Pandocréon Menhir
Pandocréon Menhir (or " Menhir" very short) is a Board game created by Amaury Bouchard.
Presentation
In Pandocréon Menhir , the players incarnate people of Korrigan S, small Lutin S Breton which make push seeds of Menhir S and which clash each year while trying to carry out most beautiful alignments of menhir. The principle is simple: it is necessary to recover seeds of menhir near the Giant guard of the mountain, then to make the magic manure which will make it possible to make them push. Attention with the Goblin S pilferers; you can bribe them to fly of seeds to your adversaries, but they also can make in the same way.Is played in fast parts or with the rules advanced for endiablées parts.
Jouability
For 2 to 6 players, as from 8 years, 10 to 20 minutes (let us say 30 minutes if you play 6, with the advanced rules, and that you take time to amuse you well).
Rules of the game
Material
The rapid parts are played with:- 24 charts " Ingrédient"
- 6 charts " Champ"
- of the stones (seeds of menhir)
The advanced rules add to it:
- 6 charts " Alliés"
- 6 charts of marking of points
Fast parts
A part represents one year, and proceeds in 4 turns of play corresponding to the 4 seasons of the year (of spring at the winter). The players pose in front of them a Champ chart, and take 2 stones which it pose at side. a stone posed beside the field represents a seed of menhir. A stone posed at once indicates an adult menhir. The players receive at the beginning of part 4 Ingrédient charts. With each turn of play, the players pose one of the charts which they have in hand (4 turns, 4 charts, at the end of the part all the charts were posed). When a chart is posed, one chooses to use it to carry out an action among 3 possible:
- To make an offering with the Giant guard of the mountain; in exchange, the guard gives seeds of menhir. The player takes seeds in the common pot and the installation beside his field.
- To make magic manure; it is what makes push seeds. The player takes seeds which belong to him and poses them on its field.
- To bribe the goblins pilferers; they will fly of seeds of menhir. The player takes seeds with an adversary and the additions with his; it is not possible to fly of the adult menhirs.
The number of recovered/thorough/stolen stones depends on the chart posed, and the season in progress. Each chart carries different values.
The goal of the play is to be the player having the most menhirs at the end of the part. In the event of equality, the number of remaining seeds decides between the players.
Advanced rules
The parts are made up of several handles. Each handle resembles a fast part (4 turns of plays, 4 Ingrédient charts by player). As many handles are done as there are players. The goal of the play is now to be the player having made push the most menhirs throughout the part. To count them, the players have a chart of counting of the points (like a field, with numbers marked above) on which they advance a stone of the number of menhir pushed at the end of each handle.
At the beginning of the first sleeve, the players take 2 seeds of menhirs. At the end of each handle, the adult menhirs are entered thanks to the chart of marking of the points, and they are given in the common pot. The remaining seeds at the end of the handle are on the other hand kept for the following sleeve. At the beginning of each handle, the players pick a chart of ally, who can be of two types:
- the giant moles, which make it possible to go to destroy adult menhirs of an adversary.
- watchdogs, to prevent the goblins from taking your seeds to you (does not function against the giant moles).
There still, the " force" chart (many destroyed menhirs or many safeguarded seeds) depends on the season which the chart is played.
