A palynozone is a Biozone based on the contents palynologic of the sediments. It is used as stratigraphic unit . The use as chronological unit (attends), to see the article Chronozone, is to be handled with precaution because, dependant on the dynamics of vegetable cover, the age of a palynozone is likely to vary according to the areas.
