Palycin
Abraham Palycin , from its true name Averi Ivanovitch Palycin comes from a noble family, began her career under the reign of Ivan the Terrible. He became monk in 1558 under the name of Abraham, and is used for the monastery of the Trinité Saint-Serge between 1608 and 1619. He is then often in Moscow (the monastery is with 40km) and at the court. When the monastery is invaded in 1610-1611 by the troops polono-Lithuanians, it remains with unquestionable Moscow and rule a number of financial businesses. After the fall of Chouiski, it makes party of a diplomatic delegation with Smolensk, near king Sigismond of Poland, and it sets out again in Moscow. During national rising in 1612, it is in the urban troops against the Poles, it takes part in the zemski sobor (assembled of the people) of election of Michel Romanov in 1613 and goes in Kostroma to the meeting of the new tsar. Until 1619, it remained with the monastery of the Trinity. During this pédiode, it wrote its Récit of the Time of the Disorders . After the return of Philarète in 1619, it is sent to the monastery of Solovetski where it dies. The central part of the account is devoted to defense of the monastery of the Trinity during the occupation polono-Lithuanian.
