Palm Island

Palm Island is an small island of Saint-Vincent-and them Grenadian belonging to the archipelago of the Grenadian , located at less than 2 km off the island of Union.

Of a surface of 55 hectares (0,54km), the island shelters a small tourist complex and a score of private residences. Known formerly under the name of Plum Island , the island took its current name when its former owners, John Caldwell (" Johnny Coconuts") and his Mary wife, planted hundreds of Cocotier S, transforming this marshy and infested island into covered island of palm trees.
