Pallottins
The Pallottins are the members of a religious Congrégation, the Pieuse Company of the Missions , become later the Société of the Catholic Apostolate (s.a.c) founded with Rome in 1835 by Saint Vincent Pallotti (1795 - 1850), Roman priest, who was Canonisé the January 20th 1963 by Jean XXIII. They are devoted to the catholic action and the missions.
Missions exist in particular in South America, Australia, India, Africa, Oceania.
The first French pallottin was Paul de Geslin.
The congregation counts 2280 members approximately.
There exists also a congregation of the Sœurs of the catholic Apostolate , called " pallottines"
