Palate of the winds

The palate of the winds is a building built at the 18th century with Jaipur, capital of the the Rajasthan in India. He is regarded as one of the wonders of architecture rajput.

Description

Hundreds of windows and balconies (953, seems it) which decorate its frontage on five stages are built in order to allow to the women royal Harem to see outside without being seen in return.

Built according to the guns of architecture rajput, it was conceived in order to make it possible the wind to circulate inside and, thus, to refresh it.
