Palate of the Congresses of Paris
The palate of the congresses of Paris , in the 17th district, is a place of businesses, congress and spectacles of the capital, installed carries Maillot. The Palate of the congresses belongs to the same unit as a hotel skyscraper, the Concorde Lafayette, in edge of the Bois de Boulogne and of Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Built starting from 1970 by the architect Guillaume Waistcoat, it is inaugurated in 1974. The imposing frontage in tilted plan dates from the rehabilitation in 1998. It is the work of the architect Christian de Portzamparc. It comprises two rooms, the Large Amphitheater (3.800 places) and the Amphitheater Bordeaux (650 places).
