Palate of Zarzuela
The palate of Zarzuela (in Spanish el Palacio of Zarzuela ) is the official residence of Its Majesty the King d' Espagne. During the 17th century the king Philippe IV ordered the construction of a small palace on the site of Zarzuela, close to Madrid. Charles IV modified the building to adapt it to the tastes of the 18th century, and decorated it with Tapisserie S and Porcelaine S as well as new pieces of furniture and a collection of Horloges.
Although the official residence is located at the Royal palace of Madrid, this small palace is the place where the king and the queen of Spain reside. The palate is in suburbs inhabitant of Madrid, in the North-West of the center of the capital. The royal couple lives in this palate since its marriage in 1962, with all its family.
