Paladru

Paladru is a commune of the especially known Isere of 775 inhabitants in 1999 for its lake: the Lake Paladru.

The Lake Paladru conceals one of the most important sites of the Neolithic European with the immersed villages of the Bathers with Charavines, excavated of 1972 to 1986. The domestic architecture, daily life, activities, the craft industry, etc were studied by more than 60 various specialists. A small exposure is visible with the Town hall of Charavines.
