Painters of the lake of Le Bourget

The Lake of Le Bourget, surrounded of the mountains of the Revard, by the Tooth of the Cat as well as its romantic and wild environment, for a very long time inspires by the painters of different sensitivities, but attracted by this particular light, changing and being reflected in water.

Many artists, in addition to painter, also yielded to the charms of this lake. And for this reason one can evoke the poet Alphonse of Lamartine who, in one of his big bosses of work entitled the Lake , pays homage to him:

“ Thus, always thorough worms of new shores,
In the eternal night carried without return,
we will never be able on the ocean of the ages
To drop anchor only one day? ”
