Pains additional
The additional sorrow is a sorrow which rises automatically and implicitly from the judgment to a given Infraction.
Before the reform of the Penal code, a judgment for flight involved the incapacity to be a banker, and if the judgment exceeded three months of imprisonment, the exercise of any industrial or commercial profession prohibited.
These sorrows were excluded in the new French Penal code but remain present for the penal sanctions contained in the other Codes. (e.g. in the monetary Code and financier in connection with the infringements made as regards accounts - checks and purchasing cards, confiscation of all the machines and apparatuses having been used for manufacture of the counterfeited means of payment)
