Padmé Amidala

Padmé Amidala is one of the characters of the first trilogy (episodes I, II and III) of the saga of the Star Wars .

It is the queen of the planet Naboo (reign shared with the Gungan S), then sénatrice of the République, interpreted by Natalie Portman.

Introduction

Not appearing in episodes IV, V and VI, she plays a paramount role in films I, II and III, where she gives rise to Luke Skywalker and the princess Leia.

Biography

Padmé Naberrie was born in a small village from mountain not far from the area from the lakes on Naboo. His/her mother, Jobal, and his/her father, Ruwee, also have another girl, Sola, which has itself two children, Ryoo and Pooja. Finally, they marry in secrecy on Naboo, with for only witnesses C-3PO and R2-D2, as from this moment it can thus be called Padmé Skywalker but the marriage being secret it will not change a name.

The Revenge of Sith

From now on pregnant, Padmé is reduced to a more unobtrusive role more especially as its love for Anakin is remained secret. This last is victim of premonitions announcing the death of Padmé to him. Right before dying, she says to the Jedi Master that there is always good at the bottom of Anakin. Leia is adopted by Bail Organa and is taken along on Aldérande (it thus obtains the royal title of “princess of Aldérande”) while Luke is accommodated by his/her uncle Owen and its aunt Beru, on Tatooine, supervised in a remote way by Obi-Wan Kenobi.
