Pacific Islands Rugby Alliance
The Pacific Islands Rugby Alliance (PIRA) was founded in 2002 on the basis of co-operation between the national federations of Rugby to XV of the Fiji, the Samoa and the Tonga. The federations of Niue and the Îles Cook are also members of alliance, but its players take part neither in the Pacific Tri-Nations, nor with the selection of the Pacific Islanders .
