Pacific Air Forces
The command of the Pacific Air Forces (or PACAF) is the great command of USAF gathering all its permanent units stationed in the Pacifique.
The PACAF form the air component of United States Pacific Command and were created on July 1st, 1957 starting from Far East Air Forces.
The zone of action of the PACAF extends since the west coast from the the United States to the Eastern coast from Africa and the Arctique until the the Antarctic, covering more than 260 million km ², 44 countries sheltering nearly two billion inhabitants!
The general headquarter (at January 1st, 2007) is with Hickam Air Force Bases with Hawaii.

- 8th Fighter Wing with Kunsan Air Bases in South Korea
- 11th Air Force with Elmendorf Air Force Bases in Alaska
- 3rd Wing in Elmendorf AFB in Alaska
- 354th Fighter Wing with Eielson Air Force Bases in Alaska
- 13th Air Force in Hickam AFB
