Paciano

Paciano is a commune of the Province of Perugia in Ombrie (Italy).

The medieval city is drawn up on the Mount Petrarvella (391m) where, in Antiquity, a temple devoted to the Janus god was. One reaches it by three doors: Fiorentina (of Florence), Perugina (of Perugia) and Rastrella.

History

Paciano owes its name (Pacciano until the 17th century) with the family dei Pacci, originating in Cortone.
