Paces
The paces is a pace of walk of some Quadrupède S. It is possible to hear terms as to go the pace or to go to the pace .
Whereas the majority of the quadrupeds goes according to a principle 1-4+2-3, the step paces is a step 1-3+2-4. Figure 1 indicates former the left, 2 the former right, 3 posterior the left and 4 the posterior right. A manner easier to visualize it is to say itself than walk with the pace is similar to that of human: initially a side (leg before left and leg postpones left) then the other (leg before right-hand side and leg postpones right).
This step gives a typical pace to those which practice it, characterized by a side unrolled fort since the two legs on the same side rise or bend down at the same time). Although this step can appear pataude, it of it is nothing. Thus, the Bear, an animal which walks the pace, is he famous lump and slow, whereas it is all the opposite, one ursidé not having any evil to catch up with human.
In the same species, certain races can go the pace and others not. It is thus the case at the Chien S and the Chevaux.
Animals going the pace
Dog
Horse
- Certaines races of horses was selected for their spontaneous pace, like haquenées. These horses are intended to be ridden sidesaddle, this pace being more comfortable. The pace is one of the five paces characteristic of the Icelandic Cheval. One speaks about a horse amblier or amblor , these two terms being able to be adjectival or substantive.
- In the tests of equestrian raising, the pace is regarded as a degradation of the pace and strongly penalized.
