Saint-Martin-the Heureux is a common French, located in the department of the Marne and the area Champagne-Ardenne.

History

Located at approximately 30 kilometers of Rheims, and 40 kilometers of Châlons-in-Champagne, this small village rests on a historical legend, which tells the passage of a rich man on the roads bordering St Martin. Against an old poor and sedentary man, the middle-class man man offered to him an end of his invaluable coat so that this one is not cold any more. Thus this village was named Saint Martin, of the name of the old man and " Heureux" , defining its joy and its cheerfulness.
