PFIAB

The President' S Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board (PFIAB), whose translation would be Conseil of the foreign information for the president, is part of the executive office of the President of the United States.

Founded in 1956 by the president Dwight David Eisenhower, his 16 members are designated by the president according to their experiment, their independence and their integrity . They are external with the Gouvernement.

The PFIAB is officially recreated by a presidential order with each new administration.

Mission

Its role is to evaluate quality, the quantity and the adequacy of the information collected by the analyzes . It controls the performances of all the agencies of Renseignement of the United States, on the matter checks the good execution of the policy of the president and brings back its information directly to him.

Each six-month period, it delivers to the Executive power a report/ratio reporting the changes, means and recommendations necessary to the continuation of an effective policy.

Lastly, he plays the legal part of council concerning the legality of the foreign operations, and must take the necessary measures in relation to the problems identified by DCI (Director off Central Intelligence), the CIA, etc
