Major author of the Spanish Literature, originating in the Basque Country, Pío Baroja wrote many accounts inspired of the Romance popular Spanish and European. He draws from the esthetics of the historical novels of Fernandez there Gonzalez or Alexandre Dumas an original inspiration. Its heroes are revolted who refuse the constraints of a company of class without loophole. They decide to engage in the action to escape their destiny; in that, are adventurers with the direction where heard the 18th century, with the limit of legality, benefitting from the faults of the system and the revolutionary sudden starts (wars Carliste S, etc).
