Pétchora

The Pétchora (in Russian Печора and in Komi Печӧра ) is a river of Russia. It passes by the Russian republics of the Komis and Nénétsie. Its course is of 1.809 km.

The river takes its source in the the Ural, in the east of the town of Oust-Ilyitch and runs towards north. It crosses the towns of Troitsko-Pétchorsk, Vouktyl, Pétchora and Narian-Mar before entering bay of Pétchora and throwing themselves in the Mer of Barents to Nosovaïa.
