Located in Large Clermont, the commune is located on the banks Allier, in the South-east of Clermont-Ferrand.

Passage de Roman Way. Necropolis with Ceramic fragment of funerary Trunk and sigillée 2nd. Seigniory of the Cournon at the 13th century, then Montmorin at the 15th century. Vestiges of strengthened enclosure.
