Pénitentielle prayer
The priest invites the faithful ones to recognize, with him, sinners, to accommodate the forgiveness of God.
Between each intention, one sings the Kyrie (one Kyrie eleison says also ). Kyrie means in Greek: " Seigneur" and Eleison : " take pitié".
In 3 times, the assembly sings:
" Lord, take pitié"
" O Christ, take pitié"
" Lord, take pitié"
The pénitentielle prayer can replace it: " I confess to God… ".
