Pénama
In December 1994, the Republic of Vanuatu, was organized in 6 areas with reinforced autonomy.
Pénama is the name of the one of these administrative areas.
It is mainly made up of the islands of Ambae, Maewo and Pentecost
Its population is approximately 25000 inhabitants for a surface of 1198 km ²
The regional administrative center is at Saratamata on the island of Ambae.
