Péguy Luyindula

Peguy Luyindula , whose complete name is Peguy Luyindula Makanda, is a Football or French born the May 25th 1979 with Kinshasa (Democratic republic of Congo).

Biography

Evolving/moving at the station of attacker, Luyindula is formed with the Niort Chamois Football Club with which it marks 8 goals in 27 matches. The following season it is transferred to RC Strasbourg. Launched in the great bath of the league 1 by the Alsatian trainer Claude Roy, it appears with Strasbourg and shines in team of France Hope at the sides of Djibril Cissé, Sidney Govou or Olivier Kapo. Recruited at the summer 2001 by the Olympique Lyonese to compensate for the departure on the other side of the channel Steve Marlet, it confirms its good provisions while being a major actor of the championships of the Olympique Lyonese, which been worth to him to be called in team of France. It carried out very beautiful seasons with the O.L before wanting to change air and wanting to exile itself towards a Méditérranéen club.

In 2004, it is transferred to the Olympique from Marseilles and is presented like the substitute of Didier Drogba even if it does not play in the same register. In spite of the very strong Marseilles pressure, Luyindula marks 10 goals and finishes better Olympian striker. That is not enough however to make forget Didier Drogba in the Marseilles hearts. This rather delicate season with Marseilles makes him lose the contact with the Blue ones. Luyindula begins season 2005/2006 with Marseilles before being lent to AJ Auxerre where it tries to start again its career in contact with Jacques Santini, trainer whom it knew with Lyon and its first chance in selection gave him. After one season semi-fig semi-grape, AJ Auxerre does not exercise the option to buy, the fault perhaps on arrival of the Marseilles trainer, Jean Fernandez, on the side of the AJA…

Thus the attacker is found in stand-by with Marseilles at the summer 2006. The August 31st 2006, right before the fence of the estival mercato, Peguy is lent one year without option to buy to Levante UD. After 6 months of galère (it carries the colors of Levante only during 250 minutes in ten matches), it terminates its contract with Levante UD on January 31st, date completion of the winter mercato, and signs in pressed with the Paris Saint-Germain for a loan whose Parisian club deals with the totality of its wages. If the club of the capital remains in L1, it will have to pour 4M€ with the OM (payable in several times) and Luyindula will sign a 3 year old contract with the PSG.

February 10th, 2007 it begins under its new couleures against the ACE Monaco (victory 4-2).

April 7th, 2007, it marks its first goal with the PSG vis-a-vis Mans (2-1).

The PSG, following its maintenance in L1, exercised the option to buy.
