Pärnu (German: Russian Pernau , : Пярну, in the past Пернов , Polish: Latvian Parnawa , : Pērnava ) is a city located on the coast of the the Baltic in the south of the Estonia. The city is a great tourist center, with many restaurants, hotels and beaches of bathe. It is crossed by a river bearing the same name, Pärnu. It is sometimes incorrectly called Pyarnu , which is a bad transliteration of Russian.
