Witch Hunter Robin (ウィッチハンターロビン) one is animated Japanese in 26 episodes, is diffused with the Japan between the July 3rd and the December 24th 2002.
Synopsis
In the near future, Witch (witch) were spread in the whole world. An organization called Solomon is charged to drive out them and to kill them. In Japan, the local division of Solomon, the STN-J, behaves differently and does not kill Witch. The team of Hunters (Hunters) uses all technology at her disposal to find the lines of Witch in order to prevent the appearance of the capacities at the current descendants. Thanks to a mysterious liquid, Orbo, they can neutralize the capacities of the witch and put them out of state to harm. A chasseuse young person, Sena Robin, are sent to Japan to replace a member of the team recently killed. She immediately causes the mistrust of the one of the best hunters of the team, Amon, which fears that this emissary of Solomon is not there to bore the secrecies of the STN-J.-
Appeared in 2002, this series very quickly dissociated usual batch, even repetitive, series of these last years. The series occurs mainly to Tokyo (Tokyo Tower in the opening, and the Todaï university at the time of research on Toudou). On the other hand, it would seem that the Enquiry as for it remains in England, since Inquisiteur mentions Queen, while the HQ of Solomon is held in Rome (Juliano remaining in Tuscany).

the series marking well the point of difference between the word Witch and Witch, one includes/understands rather early why this mark of differentiation with the episode of the Witches of Salem. Indeed, the Witches are theoretically women of the class of the healers, midwife, or pythea, practitioner of the medical remedies, purely female worships, they do not have any supernatural capacity. Witch are, as for them, of the people having of the psychic capacities. What constitutes a great difference.

Characters
Robin
Born in Japan, it was high in a monastery in Tuscany by the Juliano priest, working for Solomon. 15 years old, it has the capacity to control the flames, its Kraft. However when it uses it, it loses part of its vision, and must thus carry glasses. Later one will learn that it was charged to find Oughi, “the fragment from the Knowledge”, whose witch Mathusalem, camp of Immortal, will make him gift. This old woman, one of rare surviving of the lawsuit of the witches of Salem, will open the eyes to him on the sad truth of the witches, persecuted through time and jalousées for their gifts.This mysterious object was due to its infiltration within the STN-J in order to find it. Although not knowing with what this last is useful, it will keep it preciously. Little time afterwards, it will be driven out by its own organization for mysterious reasons. Tracked by the HQ of Solomon within the STN-J, it will owe its survival in Amon, which in spite of its appearances, saves it and protects it from the organization. This one had killed the person that Robin had replaced, Kate. Drawn aside by Zaizen of the hunting of Robin, it succeeds in drawing it from the claws of the group of intervention. It is noted whereas Robin likes this last, which does not seem as for him not impassive towards the latter. During several months, she will live hidden by Nagira, the brother of Amon. Vis-a-vis the Sastre hunter, it acquires “the Ultime technique” of the Kraft, that to be able to control the elements and becomes of this fact Witch potential. Being unaware of its origins, it is only when the conflict between the HQ and Zaizen explodes that she discovers them.
Toudou, researcher for Solomon, continue genetic experiments abandoned by the HQ. The purpose of this research was to create a genome able to conceive Witch of synthesis the most perfect possible. It raised it, it, the child having as of his birth the gifts of the Kraft. Robin is not other than “the queen mother of Witch”. A being designed genetically, able to change the future, the world, and to perhaps save Witch, elected Saturn gods and successors.
Amon
Sink, cold, mysterious, no one does not know in which camp can be the chief of the brigade of the STN-J. Between Robin and seems to him to weave a relation other than professional… Seriously wounded after having helped it to flee, Amon, semi-unconscious, takes conscience of the situation by listening to the team by storm which is moved around him. The tears with the eyes it understands hopelessly that it was not Robin whom they drove out. The HQ of Solomon looks after it and consequently handles it in order to eliminate Robin. Later, it continues to thoroughly supervise it in the shade. It is only well later, at the time of face to face with it, which it decides not to kill it and to trust him.
Amon is the son of Witch, he is of this fact the half-brother of Nagira, having the same father. His/her mother adored her son, when abruptly Witch which sommeillait at this woman made him lose the reason and tried to kill his/her child. Amon really never managed to make the mourning of his/her mother, fearing one day him also to lose the control of this blood cursed in its veins.
It remains at Robin to assist it, and finds the team of the STN-J to infiltrate Factory. Zaizen wounds it of a ball of Orbo most powerful to the shoulder. At the oddment, although being with Miho when Factory explodes, they disappear, him and Robin, mysteriously…
Michael
This Hacker young person was made catch red-handed by pirating the network of the STN-J. He was saved and works for them from now on, but is imprisoned in their buildings, of which he cannot leave under penalty of death.Regarded as a “held doggie leaves some” by all the others, it hardly tests sympathy towards Robin at the beginning. However, the strength of character of the latter and the compassion which it tests for him, will enable him to revolt against its superiors at the oddment. A desire of freedom, to become stronger, increases in him and allows him to infiltrate Factory with the team, like cutting all connections of the STN-J to the HQ and the Factory.
Dôjima
Girl of good family, Dôjima had, seems it, being swabbed to obtain her post office with the STN-J. Lazy and irresponsible, it is not implied less in the action when the need is felt some.It is only well later that it is learned how that Dôjima was a spy of Solomon, sent to the STN-J in order to know the clean significance of Orbo. It appears under very an other day when Robin is taken in hunting and that it is charged to drive out on the ground. It then becomes strong, responsible, and in truth, very impetuous.
Karasuma
Able to feel the positive or negative thoughts people only in concerning, Karasuma is the “psychiatrist” of the team, one “to profile” to some extent and Witch of class “S”. Being oldest member of the group with Amon, she means herself better with him that the others.When Amon and Robin disappear, it will vainly try to hold the role of team leader but very with difficulty, not having the same endurance and character only Amon, which will open it with many compromises and dangers. Sakaki
Junior by the team, it is enough burned head and often finds himself in tedious situations, but remains most dynamic of the team.Taken in hunting by the Factory for experiments on the orbo, its fellow-members will save it. When he hears data of Toudou which Witch are actually elected of the Gods and who the Human ones are only the servants, he loses the reason and tries to kill Robin, wounding with the Amon passage. He was killed by Robin.
Harry
Owner of the coffee being next to the office of the STN-J, and which is used as canteen with Robin and his colleagues, this man manner and accessible has however heavy passed behind him.His/her son detected rather late capacities of Witch. Frightened by the capacities of his child who did not control them, it gave up it. Two years later, his/her child returned towards him, wounded with died by the organization for which he worked. Come to see his/her father last once and to inform him of all the hatred which sommeillait towards him, that of to have given up with its fate, it forgives him. Harry entrusts its thoughts of the time then to him, its offspring returning the heart in her arms.
Nagira
It agrees to take care of Robin following the attacks of which it is victim, Amon having entrusted the latter to him.Well quickly, it is discovered that Nagira tries to protect Witch and Seed (people relationships of Witch placed under monitoring, which when they detect the least appearance of a capacity is eliminated) with its manner. It has a big number of contacts which enable him to inquire into businesses of witch such as Mathusalem, Sastre or Toudou. It becomes accessory then with Robin in whom it has confidence fully, in parallel it charges it with some job, such as transmitting mail.
One rather early notes that Nagira is the older brother of Amon, at least his half-brother bus of the deux-là have only the same genetic father. Nagira is not carrying any gene of Witch.
