Oxford Street is a famous commercial avenue of London, generally considered as longest in the world. It starts from Marble Arch to the North-East of the Hyde Park crosses Oxford Circus until the St Giles' Circus to the intersection with Charing Cross Road and Tottenham Court Road. The avenue becomes then New Oxford Street, then ends in High Holborn. In the west, Oxford Street becomes Bayswater Road (with Marble Arch). Oxford Street crosses other famous avenues of London, of which Park Lane, New Bond Street and Regent Street. In this street, a statue of the admiral Horatio Nelson is placed in a building with a gray frontage.
