Oxfam France-To act here is a Governmental organization French, founded in 1988 under the name of Agir here , which joined international Oxfam in 2006, after having been observant member since 2003.

To act here was in 1998 founding member of Attac.

Objectives:

To lay down international commercial rules righter
To defend the access to the basic services for all (health, education, water…)
To control and reduce the trade of the weapons
To reform the International financial institutions.

Association carries out for that of plea three or the four times campaigns per annum in partnership with other associations. It does not accept official subsidies nor companies.

Results obtained:

Lightening of the debt of the poorest countries
Adoption of a European code of conduct on the transfets of weapons
Increase in the government aid to the development
Introduction of products of the Equitable trade into the Large distribution
Better access to the medical care to the South
Adoption of codes of conduct by the companies of large distribution and the textile
Participation in the countryside for the prohibition of the anti-personnel mines… (Nobel Prize of peace 1997)
