Ovomucoid

The ovomucoid is a inhibiting Enzyme of Protéase S which is present in the Egg white of the Oiseau X. This polypeptide includes/understands 3 very similar functional fields able each one to fix a protease (for example the Trypsine). These fields are separate on the level of the sequence by Intron S. Each field is him even coded by two Exon S separated by a intron. The appearance of these 3 fields is probably the fruit of 2 successive duplications out of tandem of the same field.
