Ousmane Issoufi Maïga
Ousmane Issoufi Maïga is a Politician and old Prime Minister Mali into born in 1945 in the area of Gao (Mali).
Ousmane Issoufi Maïga made higher learning in economy at the University of Kiev (Ukraine, in the past the USSR), then in American University with Washington D.C (the United States) where it obtains a diploma in saving in banking and financial development.
He worked with the the World Bank, with the ministry for French Finances before returning to Mali to work with the ministry for Finances where he was in particular executive vice president of the autonomous Case of damping.
In 2002, he becomes Minister for Youth and the Sports and must organize the Coupe of Africa of the nations which is held in Mali.
After the election of Tinder Toumani Touré with the presidency of the Republic, it enters to the government of Ahmed Mohamed Ag Hamani on June 14th, 2002 as a Minister for the Economy and Finances. After the cabinet reshuffle of October 16th, 2002, he becomes Minister for Transport and the Equipment.
The April 29th 2004, it is named Prime Minister and constitutes his government on May 2nd, 2004.
Journalists and opponents gave him the nickname Pinochet .
Ousmane Issoufi Maïga presented its resignation and that of its government the 27 September 2007. It was replaced by Modibo Sidibé.
