Comments and analyzes
What challenges through this film is first of all the distant place of the Man in this process. With Charlie Chaplin in Modern times, excesses come from the man/machine union and the shifts which result from this. Our bread daily evacuates the man as actor of this process and places it as operator. It is not the existence of the technical division of work but its extension and its increase which is in the middle of this work. The central place of the act production moved of the man towards the machine. The second report is the ritualisation of animal death by the effects of the automatism of the machines. The living being became an object of production comparable to any other produced and is introduced fully into the process. This compatibility of alive as object of production with agribusiness industry worries because it touches a particular field of the human needs to know our food. Lastly, which reinforces this concern is the difficulty of locating the places of production. This difficulty makes it possible to prove that the phenomenon of industrialization while developing through spaces breaks with the former and diversified practices production for tending towards a single and standardized model.
