Our Ukraine

“ Our Ukraine ” (in Ukrainian: НашаУкраїна) is an electoral coalition of left Ukrainian founded in 2002 and whose principal leader is Viktor Iouchtchenko.

It is the parliamentary independent group of IVe Verkhovna Rada with 101 Député S. It finds its origin in the coalition bearing the same name which started by supporting Iouchtchenko in July 2001 with Hoverla. In January 2002, the leaders of ten parties of center-right signed an agreement for its foundation. It is:

The official foundation of the parliamentary group dates from the February 15th 2002. The leaders of this group are: Viktor Iouchtchenko, Viktor Pynzenyk, Yuriy Kostenko, Borys Tarasuk, Petro Poroshenko and Mykola Martynenko. The March 16th 2005, a scission takes place and the group of the Ukrainian Popular party east creates with for president Youriy Kostenko.

Since the last légistatives elections of March 2006, the group Our Ukraine has 81 deputies.
