Oui Yes is a group Pop-rock'n'roll French formed at the end of the Eighties.

Biography

The group was formed in 1983 around Etienne Charry and Michel Gondry which had met in class of second at the Experimental high school of Sevres in September 1978, joined soon by Gilles Chapat and Nicolas Dufournet they constitutes a repertory in radical reaction to the Cold wave or the committed rock'n'roll which were with the mode at the time. Many friends and musicians will pass within the group such as: François Babalom (Percussions), Matthieu Ballet (Keyboards), Odile Cohen (Choruses), Laurent Etienne alias Roudoudou (Song), Emmanuelle Geslin (Choruses), Olivier Gondry (Trumpet), Gervaise Guyot (Choruses), Eric Lefèvre (low Guitar), Laurent Lupidi (Battery), Jean-Louis Merlet (Choruses), Mathieu Paulus (low Guitar), Pierre Roudot (Battery).

After two albums and some individual, the group ceases existing in 1993.
