Oudenburg

Oudenburg is a common city and Dutch-speaking of Belgium located in Flemish Région in the Province of Western Flanders.

It includes Oudenburg itself, in addition to Ettelgem, Roksem and Westkerke. At January 1st 2005, Oudenburg had a population of 8884 inhabitants living out of the 35.38 km ² commune, giving one population density of 251.08 h/km ².

Old the Abbey of Saint-Pierre of Oudensburg, founded by Arnold de Soissons, was destroyed during the French revolution.
