Other Half of the man is a novel of Science-fiction the United States of America, written by Joanna Russ and published in 1975. The original title, The Female Man , seems betrayed by the French translation.
Synopsis
Lointemps (" Whileaway") is a version of the Earth in a future where all the men disappeared because of a mysterious disease. Only the women survived, and rebuilt civilization. One of it, Janet Evason, voyage in the past and meets women in the the United States of America of the years 1950-1960. The novel depicts a Utopie Féministe and lesbian.
