Otfrid von Hanstein
Otfrid (or Otfried ) von Hanstein (born the September 23rd 1869 with Bonn; deceased the February 17th 1959) is a German writer.
Biographical note
Otfrid von Hanstein, was initially actor, then wrote a hundred novels, news and works technical during its long career of writer who began before the First World War.
It was not limited to a particular kind, but as well exerted its talent in the kind of the novel of company and the sentimental novel, as in that of the detective novel and the accounts of adventures - often written for youth -, without forgetting the western. He also wrote ten novels of Science-fiction which were partly published in English translation in the pulp magazines “ Wonder Stories ” and “ Wonder Stories Quarterly ”.
Otfrid von Hanstein also worked for prestigious publishers for youth, such as for example the Union Deutsche Verlagsgesellschaft of Stuttgart. Some of its works were also published in episodes in the press.
Otfrid von Hanstein used various pseudonyms of which R. Trebonius and O. Zehlen .
