Oswald Boateng
Oswald Boateng (born in 1968 in the district of Muswell Hill, with London) is a Master Tailleur of British Haute couture which works for Givenchy since December 2003.
It is resulting from a family ashanti of the Ghana. Autodidact, it creates his first collection in 1986 and obtains the title of Master tailor in 1995. Its current claw of clothing is named Bespoke .
Beoteng received several prices of the profession in Europe. Its fame was fast: in 1997, it is invited by the queen with the Château of Windsor, and in 1999, he is the first dressmaker of mode to be invited in the British emission Question Time .
In 2003, he is engaged by the French house Givenchy. The choice of this tailor is criticized since by critics of haute couture, which they do not consider traditional enough.
In 2005, it is selected to draw the uniforms of the French male sportsmen for the Olympic Games of summer of 2012.
He is married with an old mannequin of Russian mode, of which he has two children.
