Ostružnica
Ostružnica , in Serb Cyrillic Остружница, is a suburb of Belgrade, the capital of the Serbia. The locality, located on Right Bank of the Save, belonged to the municipality of Čukarica. In 2002, it counted: 3929 inhabitants.
At the time of the First Serb revolt against the Turks, Karageorges, the chief of the rebellion, convened the very first National Assembly of Serbia with Ostružnica, from April 24th to 28th 1804.
