Osteoblast
The osteoblasts constitute the secretary stage of the Ostéocyte S, cells in charge of the synthesis of the bone tissue. They secrete the collagen and mucuproteins of the fundamental substance and alkaline phosphatase. The latter releases the inorganic phosphate which while binding to calcium gives calcium phosphate. The osteoblasts " immure vivants" in concentric layers of bone tissue and bonds with the other cells via cytoplasmic prolongations preserve. These cells are located at the inner face and external bone, and are present in bone tissues in growth or transformation.
The bone being in perpetual replanning, thus adapting its structure to the constraints which are subjected to him, the ostéocytes and the osteoblasts works in synergy with the Ostéoclaste S, which are able to reabsorb the bone, before synthesizing new structures.
