Ostéopontine
The ostéopontine is a Protéine of adherence of the fabric bone connecting hydroxy-apatite to the osseous cells. It belongs to the organic fraction of bone tissue. It is susbtance préosseuse, or susbtance osteoid.
It was recently discovered that the rate of this protein ostéopontine increased considerably and in an early way at the people reached of a pleural mésothélium (cancer of the plèvre due to the asbestos fiber inhalation). The search for this protein would be all the more interesting as the time of latency before the declaration of the disease is very long: from 20 to 40 years. It would be thus easier to establish the link between an exposure and the disease.
